Pregnancy is an exciting time for the expectant mother and the whole family. The problem is that it also causes pain, discomfort and stress for the mother. Pregnancy massage has many benefits that improve a mother’s comfort level and is not dangerous to the baby.


Calming for the body and mind, a pregnancy massage is a soothing massage for the mother-to-be. A pregnancy massage helps alleviate some of the discomforts of the physical changes taking place as your pregnancy advances.


Your body, during pregnancy, has been called on to do a lot of things that your non-pregnant body never did.  You are carrying more weight, in a different distribution than you ever have before.  Pregnancy changes your center of gravity. It puts stress on your back, abdominal and shoulder muscles, and forces changes in your posture. Each of these stressors can cause cramps and pain – especially low back pain. A pregnancy massage helps to relieve many of these symptoms.
